The South African Nursing Council (SANC) entreats all nursing practitioners with various nursing certificates to pay for the annual fees for the 2025 calendar year.

The annual fees for the calendar year 2025 for the different categories of practitioners are provided in the table below.

Reduction In Annual Fees For Aged 60 And Over
SANC has resolved to introduce reduced fees for nurses aged 60 and over as per the table below.

NOTE: To qualify for the discounted amount, practitioners may be required to submit a certified copy of their identity in order to confirm their age.
- The annual fees for 2025 must be paid and received by SANC on or before 31st December 2024
- The amounts in the tables above all include 15% VAT

SANC Annual Fees Payment Closing Date For 2025
The closing date for the 2025 SANC annual fee payment is 31st December 2024.
Nursing practitioners who wish to continue their practice by paying their SANC annual fees are to pay on or before the 31st of December 2024.
Again, SANC must receive nurses’ annual fee payments in the SANC bank account on or before the closing date. Nurses are, therefore, urged to pay in time to prevent last-minute payments to avoid problems associated with making payments at year-end.
More also, payees are to note that, bank transfers to non-FNB banks may take up to 3-working days before it reaches SANC and therefore, are advised to make payment well in advance so that their payment will be received by SANC on or before 31st December 2024.
How Do I Get My Certificate After Paying The SANC Annual Fees 2025?
The South African Nursing Council (SANC) has introduced a courier service to deliver the SANC Annual Practicing Certificate to nurses who make full payments of their fees via the bank at their own cost.
This means nurses will pay an additional fee of R70.00 for the courier services so that their Annual Practicing Certificate will be delivered to them.
Nonetheless, the courier delivery service is not mandatory and nurses can either opt for the service for their certificate to be delivered to them or not.
Can I Still Pay My SANC Fee After Payment Closing Date For 2025?
Yes, you can still pay your SANC fee for the 2025 practicing certificate after the 31st of December 2024. However, there is a caveat attached to late payment of SANC 2025 annual fees.
Other fees and fines payable by institutions will be applicable with effect from 01 January 2025.
Where Can I Pay My SANC Annual Fee 2025?
Nurse practitioners are advised to pay their SANC annual fees at any First National Bank (FNB) branch in South Africa. using the SANC FNB account number and reference number.
Nurses are well cautioned that the Council does not accept cash payments at its offices and advises practitioners to pay at FNB banks.
In case you want to pay via a non-FNB account, you are to know that it will take more than three (3) working days before SANC receives your payment.
