Higher Certificates In Auxiliary Nursing R169 Admission Requirements
These are the access criteria for applicants applying for admission to pursue a Higher Certificate in Auxiliary Nursing at the Free State School of Nursing.
Applicants Who Matriculated In 2008
- Matric Certificate or an equivalent thereof
- AP Score 23 and above
- English Level 4
- Life Science Level 4
- Mathematic Literacy Level 4

Hii…. yesterday I was rejected for Auxiliary in nursing and I do qualify for it. Why is that so? My points are 25 including L.O. My English is at level 5, LIFE sciences Level 4 and pure maths level 2 of (39%) and the requirements require 30%-39% pure maths for Auxiliary nursing. However, it’s to note that admission into Free State School of Nursing is very competitive and depending on how competive and the number of students to be offered admission per each academic year determines such unfortunate application outcome.
