Compulsory subjects;

- Any other two (2) approved NSC subjects with Level 4 (except Life Orientation),
- A minimum APS score of 23 points.
Applicants must have English Level 4, Life Science Level 4, and any other 2 approved NSC subjects with level 4 except Life Orientation.
Also, candidates with Grade 12 exam results must have a minimum Admission Point Score of 23 to get study admission at North West Nursing College.
2. Applicants with Senior Certificate
- English (C) symbol on Standard and ( D ) Symbol in Higher grade
- Biology (C) symbol on Standard and ( D ) Symbol in Higher grade
- Physiology ( C ) Symbol on Standard and ( D ) Symbol in Higher grade,
- All other symbols must add up to a minimum Admission Point Score (APS) score of 18 points.
Candidates who are applying with Senior Certificate exam results must have English C symbol, Biology C symbol, Physiology C symbol, and compulsory subjects.
Again, the C symbols are on Standard results and the D in all the mentioned subjects in a Higher grade.
Moreover, all symbols combined must be up to the minimum Admission Point Score of 18.
