Again, the Higher Certificate in Nursing course at Netcare is a full-time 1 Year study program.
Diploma in Nursing – General (171)
Applicants applying to study Diploma in Nursing at Netcare Education must have these subjects and their respective minimum scores on their certificate.
- English minimum 40%
- Mathematics or Mathematic literacy minimum 40%
- Life Sciences minimum 40%
- Computer Literacy at NQF level 3 (three), and
- One other subject with a credit value of 20 (twenty)
minimum 40% of the designated subject list as outlined in policy 751 of 2008 of the Department of Education. - Candidates who have completed a relevant health-related qualification at NQF Level 3 (three) or 4 (four), for example as an Auxiliary Nurse (Reg 2176) or NQF Level 4 (four) as an Enrolled Nurse (Reg 2175) and who have met the institutional selection criteria may be granted entry into the diploma program.
Also, the Diploma in Nursing (171) is a full-time three (3) year study course.
Note: Once the online application has been completed and the above documentation received, applicants who meet the requirements will receive confirmation of the date and specific arrangements of the pre-selection assessment from KR Education.
